He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Frances Thomas and Ryan Alexander Sink; and his siblings, Nancy Forcum, Carrene Sink, Merilyn Stokes and Richard Sink.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Cockerham Sink; his children, David Sink (Denise) and Alison Sink; his grandchildren, Jessica Willard (Jared), Jennifer Sink, Ashlee and Jillian Vannoy; and his sister SuEllen Pruitt (Marshal).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Covenant Sunday School class of Friedberg Moravian Church, 2178 Friedberg Church Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27127.
