Timothy Joel Tuttle Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 26, 2022, at the age of 67, Timothy Joel Tuttle of Winston Salem, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Reamer Wiley "Buck" and Louise Westmoreland Tuttle of Winston-Salem; and his siblings, Larry Tuttle (Joy) and Nancy Tuttle. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Calloway Tuttle; his sons, Clay Tuttle (Tommi) and Casey Tuttle (Christy); his siblings, Don Tuttle and Dana Edwards (Greg); his grandchildren, Jaden, Lyla, Emery, Kohl, Jasper and Ila Tuttle; his nieces, Shawn Rierson (Chris), Shannon Kurz (Jeff) and Traci Young (Bill); his extended family, Randy, Joy and Macy Rutledge; and his close friends, Steve and Carolyn Preston. He is also survived by three great nieces and a great nephew.

Tim built the foundation for LTD from the ground up and, for almost 32 years, breathed leadership, knowledge and expertise into the store and its employees.

“I just recently learned of Tim's passing, and may heart is so sad. I went to high school with him at North Forsyth. Tim had a wicked sense of humor, and I could never be around him without laughing. It was his gift, and we need more like him in our world today. He has left us too soon. I know his family and friends will miss him immensely. He was one of the good ones.”
