She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Velner Miller Sprinkle and George Eccles; her children, Arthur Blue, Jr. (Cherie), Bryan Blue, Sr. (Virginia), Tamerria Chatman (Reginald), Todd Blue (Cheretta), Barry Blue, Sr. (Jannet), April Brogdon (Gregory) and James Eccles; and her siblings, George Eccles, Verlie McNeill, Vera Richardson (Alexander), Vernard Sprinkle (Sharon) and Vickie Morrison. She was also cherished by 20 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Viewing was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Russell Funeral Home (822 Carl Russell Ave, Winston-Salem, NC 27101). Visitation was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. James United Methodist Church (165 Bethania-Rural Hall Rd, Rural Hall, NC 27045). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
