With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vernon Wilson of Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on April 2, 2026 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Vernon shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Vernon farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton S. Wilson and Virginia A. Wilson; and his daughter Brooke Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Tonya LaJoie; his son Brandon Wilson (Samantha); his siblings, Clayton Wilson and Tina Wilson (Anthony Evans); and his grandchildren, Aubrey, Brody, Harper and Liliana.
