She was predeceased by: her parents, Hoy Cebern and Mary Margaret Lee; her husband David A. Basham Sr.; and her sister Joan Welborn. She is survived by: her son David A. Basham Jr. (Debbie) of Myrtle Beach; her grandchildren, Jamie Basham and Michael Basham (Taylor); and her great grandchild Ben Basham.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Parklawn Memorial Park (2730 Peters Creek Pkwy, Winston-Salem, NC 27127).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Hinkle Hospice House, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292, in appreciation for the compassionate care they provided.
