He is survived by: his wife Katie Bennett Hay; his sons, Leonard Hay of Winstonâ and Darrell Hay (Kellie) of Melbourne, Florida.; his grandchildren, Lucretia, Latasha, Kiara, Ciara, Diarra, Darielle and Cameron; and his siblings, James A. DeVoe of Jacksonville, Steve A. DeVoe (Toni) of Silver Springs, Maryland, Cornelia DeVoe Haywood (Raymond) of Jacksonville, Florida, Carrie DeVoe Washington of Jacksonville, Florida, Daisy Ruth Jones of Jacksonville, Florida, Martha DeVoe of Jacksonville, Florida, Mary DeVoe Jones (Columbus) of Barnwell and Sandra DeVoe Bland (David) of Augusta, Georgia.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.
