With sadness, we share the passing of Weta Key Phillips of Winston Salem, North Carolina. Weta, born on May 19, 1940, passed away on October 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gennie Key and Samuel Wesley Key of Windy Gap; and her children, Gary and Dawn Michelle. She is survived by: her son Ronnie (Tammy); and her grandchildren, Betsy (Brandon), Nicky (Jared), Nathan (Katherine), Joshua, Taylor (Abby) and Ethan.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Salem Funeral and Cremation Services (2951 Reynolda Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27106). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Forsyth Memorial Park (3771 Yadkinville Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27106).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
