He was predeceased by: his significant other Gina Helms Kuerth. He is survived by: his parents, Faye Wells (Don Rector) and Larry Helms (Vicki); his children, Chris Helms (Nadia) and Rachel Breedlove (Brandon); his grandchildren, Benjamin, Maverick, Hendrix, Bridget, Grayson, Dean and Zoey; and his brother Michael Helms (Tammy Volk).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel (858 Hickory Tree Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27127). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
