He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Kitchin and Lera Carter Marshall; and his siblings, Frank Marshall, Tom Marshall, Jo Ann Smith, Sarah Luper and Elaine York.
He is survived by: his wife Johnna Marshall; his daughter Alicia Manning; his siblings, Betty Marshall Moeller (Thomas), Madeline Hire (John), Mark Marshall (Pandora) and John Marshall (Adna); his siblings-in-law, Patricia Marshall, Frank Luper and J. Blaine York; his siblings' children, Bailey, Nathan and Chloe Dzeskewicz; and his family, Elijah, Madi, Lydia and Leah Childers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either St. Jude Childrens Hospital or to Woodland Baptist Church Building fund or Bus Ministry c/o Martha Fulp, 1175 Bethania/Rural Hall Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27106.
