He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Snow Batten; his son Barry Kent Batten; his grandchildren, Kristin Leigh Rutherford (Warren) and Austin Kent Batten (Emily); his great grandchildren, Hadley, Bronwyn, Shanleigh Rutherford, Colsin and Wrenley Batten; his siblings, Donald Sherwood Batten, Julian Patrick Batten Jr. (Pat) and Susan Carole Batten-Bell (Jim); and also, Krystle (Cameron), Madison, Maggie, Camden Collie, Suzanne (Mark), Dillon and Tyler Shotwell.
