She was predeceased by: her parents, Surie Sr. Alexander and Ada Williams Alexander; her husband Charlie L; her son Daryl Kennedy; and her sisters, Clara Underwood, Lizzie Hepburn and Marion Taylor (Paulette).

She is survived by: her children, Stacy Kennedy and Douglas Kennedy of Duluth, Minnesota; her siblings, Surie Jr., Deloris, Charles and Michael Alexander; her great-aunt Laura Jenkins; and her nieces, Brenda, Marilyn and Kaysheila. She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
