Billy C. Dixon Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Billy C. Dixon of Winterville, North Carolina is shared. Billy, born on August 8, 1937, passed away on September 25, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Billy will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Billy by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Billy is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Billy’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.

He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Dixon; and his brothers, Homer, Kenneth and Vernon Dixon. He is survived by: his brother Ted Dixon (Marion); his nieces, Elaine Ballantyne, Doris Dixon Jewett, Judy Dixon and Jenny Platt; and his great-niece Karen Lynn Torres. He is also survived by numerous nephews, great nephews, and great nieces.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Greenwood Cemetery.
