Gareth Wingate Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gareth Wingate of Winterville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 8, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wingate and Maude Wingate; and his brother Ralph Wingate. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Lang Wingate; his sons, Jeff Wingate and Steve Wingate; his grandchildren, Mary Harris (Mike), Shannon Wilkins, Stephen Wingate (Marissa), Michael Wingate and Tyler Horne; his niece Lorrie Ann Carraway; and his brother-in-law Don Lang (Kim). He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
