He was predeceased by: his father Robert Sawyer. He is survived by: his mother Mae Anna Parker Sawyer of Cofield, NC; his daughter Brittany Mason of Winton, NC; and his siblings, Devonya Sawyer of Ahoskie, NC and Devon Sawyer of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hunter's Funeral Home - Ahoskie (123 Dr Martin Luther King Jr Dr N, Ahoskie, NC 27910). A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Jordan Grove Baptist Church (103 Hill St, Winton, NC 27986).
