He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Claxton Broglin and Elizabeth Mary Williams Broglin; his wife Rena Mae Lowe Broglin; his brothers, Johnny and Larry Broglin; and his daughter-in-law Vicki Broglin.
He is survived by: his sons, James Broglin of Ahoskie and David Broglin (Mary) of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Kristen Dilday (Patrick) of Powellsville, Kaitlyn Broglin of Ahoskie, Ashton Broglin of Raleigh and Tegan Broglin of Raleigh; his great grandchildren, Aubree Farmer, Madison, Maranda, Ryan, Owen Diego and Henry Dilday; and his sisters, Brenda Jenkins of Aulander, Joyce Tyler of Aulander, Edna Trawick of Severn, Jeanette Hewitt of Ahoskie and Carol Myers of Aulander. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
