Barbara Jean Daughtry Obituary
Barbara Jean Daughtry, born on June 7, 1935, passed away on September 23, 2026. Barbara leaves behind family members and others who acknowledge this loss. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland McDonald and Lula Walters; her husband James "Calvin" Daughtry; her daughter Theresa Jean Daughtry; and her siblings, Durwood Walters and Paulette Bishop.
She is survived by: her brother Doug Walters of Littleton, NC; and her sons, James Kenneth "Pete" Daughtry of Palmyra, VA and Jeffery Leonard Daughtry (Sandy) of Conway, NC. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and an abundance of great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service - Rich Square (116 Short St, Rich Square, NC 27869). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Lasker Cemetery.
