With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Herbert Cloyd of Woodland, North Carolina, who passed away on December 28, 2022 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including : his brother Lavurn Cloyd, Jr.; his wife Gloria Cloyd; his children, Tommy L. Cloyd of Stokes, Cheryl T. Cloyd of Garner, Trischa Mayo Melendez (Nestor) of Norfolk, Virginia and LaShonda Vaughan; and his sisters, Agnes Bettie Barnes (John) and Gloria Cloyd Fields (James). He was also cherished by four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a host of relatives and friends.
Often times he could be found riding for charity or in Christmas parades - at times with his toy poodle on the back.
