She was predeceased by : her parents, James Watson and Virgie Barnes Watson Ridley. She is survived by : her husband Rufus Mitchell of Woodland, NC; her children, Yolanda Mitchell of Knightdale, NC, James Mitchell (Cathleen) of Washington, DC, Timothy Mitchell (Tineen) of Greenville, NC and Steve Mitchell (Christy) of Greenville, NC; and her siblings, Patricia Ridley of Norristown, PA, Cynthia Watson of Poughkeepsie, NY, Pernell Ridley (Starr) of Owning Mills, MD, J. C. Watson (Mary Lee) of Suffolk, VA and John Thomas Watson of Queens, NY. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
