He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. Lyerly and Bessie Ramsay Lyerly; his wife Dorothy Drum Lyerly; his son Carl Neely Lyerly Jr.; his grandchildren, Keith Lyerly and Bridget Lyerly; and his siblings, Cecil of Hugh, RJ, Keith, Wayne, Ruby, Helen, Jane and Jean.
He is survived by: his children, Murray Lyerly, Janice Estes and Marilyn Clements. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren 21 great grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren.
