She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Pruitt and Hattie Fortune Pruitt; her spouse Thomas Imes Sr. The; her son Thomas Imes, Jr.; her granddaughter Angel Imes; and her sisters, Edith Yvonne Lazenby, Pecola Gray, Jessie Rankin, Lelia Mae Rudisell, Dezeree Imes and Ammie Phifer.

She is survived by: her son Kenneth Imes; and her sister Evangelist Hattie Sue Gray of Statesville. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
