He is survived by: his wife Judie Norris Eakins; his son Dr. Darrin F. Eakins; his grandchildren, Emily Rose Eakins and Alex William Eakins; his siblings, Dr. Bill Eakins (Shelby) and Pat Eakins Simmons (Skeet); his siblings-in-law, Sheila Norris Miller, Sherry Norris Reeves, Dale Norris (Diane), Ronny Norris and Tommy Norris (Sarah); and his close friends, Melanie Wooten and Amanda Aburahmeh. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
