It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curtis Phillip Baity of Yadkinville, North Carolina, who passed away on May 5, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sheridan Baity and Myrtle Plowman Baity; his son Bryon Baity; his grandson Brett Baity; and his sister Betty Pardue.

He is survived by: his wife Alice "Gaye" Melton Baity; his children, Dannah Moore (Greg), Derek Baity (Tonya), Chad Baity (Brooke), Alicia Ratledge (Randy), Brian Lusk (Dana) and Shelly Holbrook (Gary); and his sister Dorothy Rollins (Denny). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
