It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dean Allgood (Yadkinville, North Carolina), who passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Sharpe and Roxie Childress Allgood; and his siblings, Vernon Allgood and Weaver. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Renegar Allgood; his children, Crystal Allgood Brooks, Jennifer Brode (Chad) and Daniel Allgood (Katie); his brothers, Randy Allgood (Lori), Shanon Allgood (Alison) and Terry Allgood; his half-siblings, Isaac Allgood, Darlene Jenkins (Jackie) and Bonnie Williams (Steve); his grandsons, Landon Marler, Dakota Brode, Jace Brode and Colton Brode; and his siblings-in-law, Darrell Renegar and Elaine Salmons (Avery). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cornerstone Family Ministries (3132 Cornerstone Wy, Yadkinville, NC 27055). A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
