Doris Money Hobson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2025, at the age of 100, Doris Money Hobson (Yadkinville, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, B. C. Money and Vallie Brown Money; her husband Charlie Cline Hobson; and her siblings, Brodie Money, Ben Money, Lola Brown, Ura Martin, Ruth Whitaker, Lela Wiseman and Ada Lee Jester.
She is survived by: her sons, Ted Hobson (Catherine) and Rex Hobson (Beverly); her grandchildren, Meredith Showalter (Ryan) and Landon Hobson (Nikki); and her great grandchildren, Mason, Maddox, Molly, Marshall Showalter, Charlie, Henry and Ollie Hobson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Union Grove Baptist Church (2401 Nebo Rd, Yadkinville, NC 27055). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Union Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 2401 Nebo Road, Yadkinville, NC 27055.
