With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Thomas Melton of Yadkinville, North Carolina, who passed away on May 1, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Andrew Melton and Martha Rupard Melton; and his sister Martha Ruth Jones. He is survived by : his wife Annie Harrison Melton; his children, Jeremy Melton (Sandra), Tamla Caudill (Tim) and Darian Hester (Bobbi); his grandchildren, Austin Barker (Chelsea), Jessica Mullins (Jarrett), Chase Melton (Emily Marcincavage), Mason Hester, Cole Hester, Haidyn Hester, Tyler Sutton (Ashley), Maegan Larimer (Joey) and Melody Hester; and his great grandchildren, Zeke, Connor, Hadleigh, Thomas, Bailey and Preston.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Turners Creek Baptist Church, 3216 Courtney Huntsville Road Yadkinville, NC 27055.
