He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Azrell Brown and Mollie Styers Brown; his siblings, Harold Gray Brown, Clara Brown Hinshaw and Sue Brown North; and his aunt Blanche Sabotta.
He is survived by: his wife Betsy Lunsford Brown; his daughters, Gina Brown Hayes (David), Lisa Brown Groce (Christopher) and Tiffany Brown Burgiss (John); his grandchildren, Carrie Hayes Bjorkquist (Eric), Dr. Tyler Groce, Austin Groce (Brittany), Riley Burgiss (Gigi) and Maddie Burgiss; his great grandchildren, Carter Groce, Mack Bjorkquist, Brexli Groce, Daxtin Groce and Kenneth Le Groce; his sisters, Jane Hennings (Alvis) and Annette Hennings (Joe); and his friends, Church, Rev. Jared Warden and Rev. Nelson Puffenbarger. He is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
