She is survived by: her father Sherman Perkins of Dobson; her stepmother Karen Perkins of Dobson; her mother Vicki Griffey Reinhardt; her brothers, Jason Perkins (Nicole) of Hays and Aaron Perkins (Tracy) of Hamptonville; her stepsiblings, Jason Reinhardt of Hamptonville and Jennifer Edwards of Dobson; her siblings' children, Skylar Perkins, Jonah Perkins, Ethan Perkins, Austin Perkins and Aidan Perkins; and also Sarah Atchison of Hamptonville.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation, 1300 Baxter Street #150, Charlotte, NC 28204.
