He was predeceased by : his parents, Lester Gray Dixon and Janet Elaine Phillips Dixon. He is survived by : his children, Matthew Dixon (Kelsey) and Hope Dixon; his grandchildren, Micah Gray Dixon and Katie Lynn Dixon; and his caregiver Odeana Vanhoy.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville (5108 US-601, Yadkinville, NC 27055).
