He was predeceased by : his mother Judy Rebecca Griffith Smith. He is survived by : his father Leo Alvin Harris (Gin); his fiancé Tracey Butner; and his sisters, Carla Melton (Andy) and Kandi Shaffner (Richard). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville (5108 US-601, Yadkinville, NC 27055).
