She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Dinkins and Arebelle Pettit Dinkins; her daughter Terry Lane Kimmer; and her sisters, Alleene Dinkins and Vivian Lawson.
She is survived by: her husband Benny Gray Kimmer; her daughter Jody Wingler (Toby); her grandchildren, Emry Wingler (Victoria Cohn) and Eli Wingler (Layken Mathis); and her sisters, Mary Ruth Reece, Shelby Bruce, Maebelle Carlton and Darnell Latham (John Ray). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
