He was predeceased by : his parents, Jimmy Stroud and Vertie Gilliam Stroud; and his siblings, Royce Stroud Dobbins Myers, Wayne Stroud and Kenneth Stroud.

He is survived by : his wife Betty Jo Reavis Stroud. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
