He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Emmit McCormick and Zena Lillian Parker; his daughter Melissa Hardy; and his brother Paul McCormick. He is survived by: his wife Mary McCormick; his children, Joseph McCormick, John McCormick (Holly), Sandra Noe and Donna East; his sister Kay Brown (Ronda Lee); his sister-in-law Glenda East; and his close friends, Linda Manring and Katie Stanley. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville (5108 US-601, Yadkinville, NC 27055). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Gentry Family Chapel (5108 US-601, Yadkinville, NC 27055).
