She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Handy Smith and Kathy Gosnell; her grandchildren, Wendy Bell (Joseph Burgess), Adam Handy (Cynthia), Tiffany Owens (Thomas), Crystal Walker (David) and Gary Gosnell; her great grandchildren, Shianna Mendoza (Tony), Zackery Williams (Sherry), Jeannie Mendez (Heslin), Amber, Lilly, Adam Handy Jr., Austin Handy, Alyssa Handy, Miranda Handy and Anna Willard; her great great grandchildren, Ian Mendoza, Elijah Mendoza, Emory Mendoza, Atom Williams, Tatiana Williams, Dalton Williams, Letty Williams, Brandon Williams and Elijah Willard; her siblings, Pearl Hicks, Betty Bell, Bobby Childress and Alan Childress; and her son-in-law Jerry Leo Smith.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville (5108 US-601, Yadkinville, NC 27055).
