Bobby Sanford Pearce Obituary

Bobby Sanford Pearce, 87, passed away on April 06, 2026 at his home in Youngsville, NC. Bobby was born in Franklin County on March 11, 1939 to the late Henry and Mary Rogers Pearce . In addition to his parent, Bobby was preceded in death by his wife, Iris Gay Morris Pearce.

Bobby is survived by his son, Bradley Pearce; his daughter, Alisa Martin (Clark); grandchildren, Amber Medlin (Tony), Stacey Piccione (Alex), Ethan Pearce, Landon Pearce, Gabrielle Pearce, Clark Martin Jr (Corey) and JC Ochoa (Jonny); and great-grandchildren, Ellie Piccone, Javier Ochoa, Joselyn Ochoa, Julian Ochoa, and Jolie Ochoa.

Bobby retired as a supervisor with 25 years of service at Weave X. His love for horses shined throughout the years with his passion for barrel racing along with going to the tracks. On Sundays, Bobby enjoyed spending the day watching Nascar races or pulling for Duke basketball.

A graveside funeral service will be held at Harris Chapel Baptist Church at 2pm on Friday, April 10, 2026, with Dr. Bill Haley officiating. The family will receive friends at Bobby's home from 3:00-8:00pm nightly this week.
