He was predeceased by: his father Morris Edward Brogden; and his grandparents, Tom, Beulah Brogden of Creedmoor, Homer and Lessie Mitchell of Youngsville.

He is survived by: his mother Dollie Brogden; his daughter Kim Carroll (Rodney); and his grandchildren, Emily and Zoie.
