Evelyn S. Richards Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Evelyn S. Richards of Youngsville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 25, 2026 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Houston Spencer and Winnie Glyn Cheaves; and her sister Mary Glyn Spencer Champion. She is survived by: her children, Karen Glyn Richards Paschall, William Robert Richards III and Yvonne LaRue Richards; her grandchildren, Jonathan Stephen Paschall (Amanda), Mary Ruth Richards Beasley (Daniel) and William Robert "Bob" Richards IV (Julia); and her great grandchildren, Lily Catherine Paschall, Tripp Stephen Paschall, Emma Ruth Beasley, Wyatt Shaw Beasley, Mollie Ann Richards, William Robert Richards V and Sadie Gray Richards. She is also survived by other extended family including nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
