He was predeceased by: his parents, H. B. Taylor and Ruby Perry Taylor; and his sister Sue Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Keenum Taylor; and his children, G. Scott Taylor (Robin) of Wake Forest and Sonia Taylor Loper (Gene Loper) of Ridgeland, Mississippi.. He is also survived by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
