He was predeceased by : his father Raymond Wesley. He is survived by : his wife Connie Daniels Carter; his children, Laura Carter Christenson (John), David R. Carter (Suzanne) and Michael A. Carter (Lorna); his grandchildren, Johnathan Compton (Donna), Amanda Carter Vick (Ryan), Mallory Carter, Justin Carter, Courtney Carter Young (Luigi) and Hunter Carter; his great grandchildren, Colt Compton, Peyton Compton, Harper Vick, Charlotte Vick, Lucca Young, Celine Young and Aria Roldan; and his sisters, Carolyn Carter Chamberlain and Shureen Carter Johnson. He is also survived by four nieces and four nephews.
