Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Laura Jean Mauney of Youngsville, North Carolina, born in Bessemer City, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 96, on April 14, 2024. She was predeceased by : her parents, Lawrence Gerald and Mary Ella Rhyne. She is survived by : her daughters, Mary Jeanne Mauney and Sandy Fox (Kenneth); her grandchildren, Michael Swanson (Melissa) and Jennifer Baker (Chris); her great grandchildren, Katie and Mikayla Swanson; and her great great grandchild Oaklen Buckingham.

A graveside service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Elizabeth Baptist Cemetery (301 N Post Rd, Shelby, NC 28152).
