She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Moss Mitchell and Elton M. Mitchell; and her husband Al DePorter. She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Lu Hensley (Mike) and Nancy Hardwick (Sam); and her granddaughter Mary Catherine Hardwick.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Youngsville Town Cemetery (482 S College St, Youngsville, NC 27596).
