He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Geraldine DeLonka Koonce; his parents, Calvin Rollins and Mary Snoddy Rollins; his children, John Steven Koonce and Linda Ann Koonce; and his siblings, Calvin Koonce (Ruth), Carolyn Rollins, Mary Rollins Shelton, Steve Rollins, Mitchell Koonce (Betty), Terry Koonce, Georgie Koonce, Ann Holder and Amy Cargile. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
