He was predeceased by: his father Berdgis Simon; and his brothers, Alton and Herbert. He is survived by: his wife Janie R. Strickland; his son Jon E. Strickland (Billie); his grandson Jonathan E. Strickland; and his sisters, Mildred S. Leonard and Margaret Ann S. Williams (Norwood). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
