He was predeceased by: his father Glenn Dayton Cone, Sr.; and his brother Glenn Dayton Cone, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Beth; his mother Lucy Cone Collier (Whit); and his friends, Tony Bennett, Ed Lauer, Kevin McCraw, Les Merritt, Darryl Perry and Greg Rogers.
