He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Pressley Pearce, Jr. and Lovie Blackley Pearce; and his son-in-law Allen Jenkins. He is survived by: his wife Ophelia "Opie" Keeter Pearce; his children, Katina Pearce Jenkins, Jason P. Pearce (Amy) of Sylvania, GA and Jeremy B. Pearce of Sylvania, GA; his stepson David R. Daniel (Julianne) of Front Royal, VA; his sisters, Marie P. (Hinton) and Williams (Danny); his grandchildren, Austin, Justin Pearce, Christopher, Lucian Daniel and Vittoria Ophelia Daniel; his nephew Matthew Hinton; his great-nieces, Presley Hinton and Harper Hinton; and his great grandchild Bowen.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Gethsemane Memorial Gardens (809 W Gannon Ave, Zebulon, NC 27597). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
