Douglas Mcauthur Goodwin Obituary

Douglas McAuthur "Whit" Goodwin, 83, passed away on June 29, 2026 at Zebulon Health and Rehab in Zebulon, NC. Whit was born on March 02, 1943 to the late William Everette and Alice Godfrey Goodwin. In addition to his parents, Whit was preceded in death by his siblings, Herbert Goodwin, Dollie Mae Murray, Eddie Lee Goodwin, Frank Goodwin, Lucille Ray, John "Bud" Goodwin, and Marie Hodge.

Whit is survived by his great-nephew Bernie Goodwin (Melody) of Franklinton.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM on Friday, July 10, 2026 at Lancaster's Franklinton Chapel.
