He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Hill and Flora Faircloth Hill; his wife Shirley Davis Hill; and his siblings, Mildred Kellum, Bobby Hill and Larry Hill.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Hill, Sr. (Kristie), Michelle Freed (Bobby) and Mark Hill; his grandchildren, Michael Hill Jr. (Allison), Ashleigh Hill (Anthony), Preston Hill, Bryson Freed, Baylee Freed, Barrett Freed and Chesne Hill; his great grandchildren, Tony Lombard, Hailey Hill and Anna Lombard; and his brother Pete Hill.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Gene's name to Hopkins Chapel Baptist Church.
