He was predeceased by : his parents, George Russell, Sr. and Doris Haley Russell; and his grandson Mathew Russell. He is survived by : his wife Betty Russell; his children, Kelly Layton (Ben), Michael Russell (Julie) and Amy; and his stepchildren, Gerald and Emily. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
