He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Edward and Katie Milan Allen; his siblings, Everett, Alton Allen and Evelyn Allen; and his daughter-in-law Kristen Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Violet Esther Denton Allen; his sons, Darnell Allen and Darren Allen; his grandchildren, Rodney and Savannah Allen; and his sister-in-law Wanda Allen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
