He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ray McLeod Sr. and Annie Pearl Lee Wells. He is survived by: his son Drew McLeod (Kirsty); his grandchildren, Phoebe McLeod and Jamie McLeod; and his siblings, Debbie Finch (Bruce) and Joey McLeod (Jennifer). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
