He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Benjamin Medlin; and his sister Lynn Fleming. He is survived by: his wife Charlene Medlin; his sons, Joseph Medlin of Zebulon and Ernest Medlin of Zebulon; his sister Anita Sickles of Arkansas; the mother of his children Ruth Privette Boone; his mother-in-law Frances Bass; his brother-in-law Todd Bass (Nicki); his niece Kaylee; and his pet Maggie. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and extended family.
